The Benefits of Inhouse Training

Our HVAC Academy training is a 10-week program that allows you to become a certified maintenance tech and full-time Merrell employee. The benefits of our formal job training program are vast and include the following:

• You’ll be able to attend ride-a-longs with senior service technicians who have been working in the HVAC field for decades

Eligibility & Final Steps

Before completing the program, you’ll be given a formal test covering all the coursework material. A tool allowance will also be provided once you finish the program. Our eligibility requirements include:

• You must be at least 18 years old to enroll
• Candidates from all education levels are eligible
• No experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Proof that you’re legally eligible to work in the United States
• The ability to uphold our tradition of excellence
